Ema has a new wig now but i'm not sure if she will keep it for good. i think i need to spend more time with her then maybe i will grow to like her look more.

Next is Umi. Finally she has a new wig. Actually i think it is difficult to find a wig for her, i dunno why. But i think this wig kinda suit her, just let her stay in this wig for now.

Meet Hikari, my new girl. Previously i didn't think much about her but now i have her, i realize that she is very pretty, i love her eyes :) Her wig quality is not so good but i love the 2 tone grey.

Back from Hong Kong~

Back from HK last evening... The moment i stepped out of Changi Airport, i started to 'hate' the weather here because i was sweating when i got in to the car... haha... i miss the weather in HK, it was not very cold but you can feel the cool wind even you are walking under the sun. Surprisingly, i felt that my skin condition was better during my stay in HK even though i slept late and i didn't drink a lot of water plus i ate potato chips and fried food. Usually if i sleep late, the next day sure will have new pimples pop out, so i was quite surprised that i didn't have new breakouts during the stay.

i like to dress like this but it's quite impossible to do it in SG because of the hot weather :(

Well, the main reason of going to HK was to shop for toys, i mean, dolls stuff :P There were so many toy shops, i tried to survey as much as possible to compare prices before buying what i wanted, i think most of the shops are selling cheaper than the shops in SG. i was very happy that i could find some dolly stuff at a cheaper price, i think the dolly clothes that i bought are enough for 'one year's supply' for my dolls, LOL. As for the dolls, the prices are cheaper too if compare to SG, i bought Pullip Peter Pan because she is really cute in real life and she reminds me of Pullip Nina, as for Pullip Sala, i like her but i didn't think of buying her before i went to HK coz i thought she is very expensive if i buy her now, then when i saw her at one of the shop, i decided to get her since i felt her price was quite ok and she is a limited edition.

It's my 2nd time to visit HK Disneyland but it's still enjoyable since i was with my bao bei. It was a different feeling this time coz everything was Xmas themed and i liked the fake snow and the cool weather at night.

Actually i didn't go to much places for photo-taking since mainly i was at the shopping places but i did go to the East Promenade at Tsim Sha Tsui. It's a very nice scenery and it was slightly colder at that place, i loved it. My picture didn't turn out well but the scenery was really beautiful.

i think our trip was really worth it because i couldn't believe that the travel agency booked this really nice hotel ( Royal Plaza Hotel ) for us. Actually when we checked in to the hotel, the receptionist said the type of hotel room that they booked for us was not available at the time so they upgraded the room for us. When we saw our hotel room, we felt so lucky coz we got a better room without paying additional fees. The room we stayed actually cost around S$600 per night but we only paid S$689 per person for our return air tickets and 4 nights hotel stay! Although the airline we chose (Cathay Airline) is not very good but the hotel already made my day :)

Introducing Airi, my 27th doll

Meet my newest girl, i named her Airi, she's a Pullip Sfoglia. She has a sweet face and i love her eyes^^

Pullip Sfoglia is one of the doll from the collaboration between Groove ( Pullip's distributor ) and Angelic Pretty. Angelic Pretty is a Japanese fashion company specializing in lolita fashion.

Shiena is one elegant lady. Actually i'm quite satisfied on how these pics of Shiena turned out, i took the pics at home at night with minimal lighting and i like the results. i think the black background helped a lot too :P

Miyu is wearing her stocks again and she really looks great in it. i was browsing through some magazines and i saw some anime figures posing with sword so i wanted to pose Miyu with sword too, that's why i dressed her back as Rozen Maiden's Suigintou.

World of Dolls

Do you know any dolls? Not Barbie or Jenny! Or are you a doll-collector? Just wanna share some dolls' info if you are interested in collecting them... maybe you think that collecting dolls is a stupid act but there are a lot of people in the world are doll-collectors, even the guys also like dolls... it's not only a 'girl-thing' anymore...

This is Blythe. There are two types of Blythe dolls: the 28cm (1/6th scale) "NEO" and the 11.2 cm "Petit Blythe." Only NEO Blythes have colour-changing eyes, which include the colours blue, green, orange, and pink (except for cases with limited-edition dolls). Newer releases of the Petit Blythe dolls have moveable eyelids and bendable bodies. Blythe dolls range in price (at release date) from USD$60 (ADG versions) upwards of USD$300 (limited edition NEOs). Personally I think this doll is ugly and I will never like her... Oops, sorry, no offence to Blythe lovers!

Next is Super Dollfie. SD is a ball-jointed doll, about 57-60 cm tall, they are highly customizable - wigs, eyes, face paint, hands, feet, heads and other body parts may be changed, if desired. There are a few types of SD: "Mini SD", "SD Cute", "Super Dollfie Yo-SD", "SD 16", etc.... They are much more expensive, a SD costs around US$ 375 and above, and the worst thing is not included wig, make-up and outfit! Terrible isn't it? Not many people can afford it..Usually you have to buy it online... Some of them look good but some look a bit scary to me!
Heard of Momoko? Momoko is a 1/6 scale (27cm, 10.6 inch) Japanese fashion doll. The Momoko doll, has visible joints and good flexibility, able to tilt and rotate her head, bend and rotate the elbows, bend the knees, slightly flex and bend near the waist, flex the wrists and ankles, and so on. The Momoko doll is able to stand on her own without help, though a white metal stand is included. The Momoko doll costs about US$70 and above.

J-doll is another doll quite similar to Momoko. J-doll is also from Japan, 27cm tall, costs about US$70 and above.
Here comes my Pullip and TaeYang! Pullip is a collectible fashion doll. It was created by the Korean company Cheonsang Cheoha and marketed by Jun Planning of Japan. Pullips are released on a monthly basis, and there are additional limited release exclusives sold occasionally. Each edition has a unique name with distinct face make-up, hair, outfit, accessories, and box. Pullip has a unique eye mechanism that allows the eyes to move back and forth, and wink, using levers on the back of the head. Pullips are highly articulated. Pullip can be personalized and customized. Pullip is about 12 inches tall with an oversized head. The body is about 9 inches tall (1:6 scale), the size of many fashion dolls such as Barbie and Jenny. Taeyang was introduced in 2006 as the second male counterpart of the Pullip doll. He is about 34 cm in height; taller than Pullip and the same articulated body as his predecassor, Namu. He has a realistic head and an eye mechanism that allows side to side eye movement as well as individual blinking.

Enjoying my day offs...

hmm.. have been enjoying my 2 days off... yesterday i bought 2 new dolls and brought Latte out for photoshoot! yes, i'm insane! spent S$280 for 2 dolls!!

i don't really like Lead's jacket so i took it off... his hair was like sh*t when i just removed him from the box so i got no choice i had to tie his hair temporarily... have to do something to his hair before i could take some nice photos of him....

ok, lets focus on my beloved Latte! haha... this was my 1st time bringing my dolls out for photoshoot... wanted to do it long ago but i didn't dare to do it coz i'm afraid that the 'environment' might dirty my dolls... i can't bear to let them sit on the road or lie on the grass, etc... but now i've changed my mind since i really love the pics of Latte!

to you, she maybe just a doll, to me, she's more than just a doll...

bao bei helped to pose Latte! thanks bao bei for accompanying me to do everything related to my dolls! i'm glad that you understand how much i love these dolls like i understand how much you love your Transformers! haha...

today me and bao bei went to have lunch at this japanese restaurant called Tomton...






mmm... delicious? definitely!! even my Purezza also wants to eat but she can't pronounce the word properly ( she's not a jap, mind you ) lol...heehee...


this are the sesame seeds that need to be mixed with a sauce ( not soya sauce, i dunno its name, it's brownish, sweet, little bit sour... ) before mixing we have to pound it first... just pound a little, no need to make it too fine...
