Seoul trip

i was in Seoul with my hubby last month and it was our first time to go to South Korea. To tell the truth, i used to think that i would never want to visit South Korea in my life, lol. It was not that i 'hate' or 'dislike' Korea, but i guess i was more of a 'japanophile', lol. Only recently i started to notice about K-Pop and slowly developed my interest on Korea. Actually i was worried that we chose the wrong place for vacation, after we have booked and confirmed our trip, haha, but luckily our trip turned out great XD

Luckily we didn't 'die' there because we don't know how to speak Korean and it was our first visit. It wasn't that bad afterall because we have prepared all the maps and info that we needed. Not having much problems on shopping too, so far the people we met can speak a little bit of English and even Mandarin. Maybe the more challenging one would be the ordering of food since most of their menus are in Korean only and not many of the menus have pictures of the food -_-''' But if you go to those restaurants which are more for tourists, communication with the staff should not be a problem. The only problem would be eating at those small restaurants where the people there cannot understand English at all, 'unfortunately', usually this kind of restaurant has nicer food!

i heard a lot of people say that the Koreans are rude but i think it is stereotype. Anyone can be rude no matter where you come from. At least we met some helpful Koreans in Seoul on 3 occasions!

We were glad to see many cafes in Seoul coz we love cafes!

And of course, the real Korean food is super nice!

i love their appetizers~!!! The kimchi was really good, i prefer not too spicy/sour kind of kimchi :P

Bulgogi! Seriously, this beef was the best beef that i have ever tasted in my life, lol.

Hello Kitty cafe at Hongdae area.

They don't have a lot of variety but i think basically the food and drink were not bad, and more importantly, they're very cute!

Dongdaemun was a great place for shopping, but i called it the evil place coz i spent too much money there, lol.

See those buildings above? The evil ones XD The must-go places are Maxtyle, Doota, aPM and Migliore. Confirm more evil than Taipei's Wu Fen Pu, hahaha.

These were the stuff i bought from Dongdaemun, and also a pair of shoes and a bag which were not in the photos :P This coat was really good, it really kept me warm. The inner layer of the coat and that beautiful fur on the hood are detachable. i still remember what the salesgirl said to me, she told me that these 2 parts can be removed and i could wear it during spring or when the weather is not too cold, inside my mind i was like "we don't even have spring in our country", lol. The last pic doesn't do any justice on the fur, i think this type of fur is quite different from the ones i have seen so far. When i was in Seoul, i tried to observe what kind of fur on the hood of the coats that Koreans wore and i didn't see anyone wearing the same as mine! ( *proud, lol )

People always say the cosmetic/skin care items in Korea are very cheap but i really had no idea how cheap they are until i saw them with my own eyes. Actually i didn't really plan to buy skin care products or cosmetic items but the salesgirl was too good at promoting the items so i ended up buying those. At first i thought i have wasted money on something that i didn't really need but when i came back to Singapore, i went to the shops and checked out the price and compared, only at that moment i realize that i should have bought more!!! i have never used any products from thefaceshop so i really didn't know about their price, so i was very ignorant, lol. The price differences are very huge! When can i go to Seoul again? Those items are not going to last until my next visit :( i need to buy more, but not in Singapore, lol.

Shall blog again soon...

Big Bang Alive Tour Singapore 2012

Last week i went to watch Big Bang's concert and it was really amazing! The boys were really great performers/singers/dancers! It was too bad that we were not allowed to bring any DSLR cameras so i didn't manage to take any proper photos or videos. The ones i took with my iPhone looked terrible, lol. But i don't know how some people managed to 'smuggle' in their cameras? Or do they have special connection with the event organizer?

Found some pics from bigbangupdates.com

This is G-Dragon, the leader. i like his style,  no offense but he's like a 'classy' ah-beng to me, lol. Those people who were 'touched' by him that night were really lucky, people just didn't want to let go of his hand, hehe :P

Poor T.O.P, he had to performed with his injured right hand. He still looked very handsome even with his bandaged hand, in fact, i think he is the most handsome among the rest XD

i wasn't really into him before the concert but i realized he is actually very cute and good looking in real life! It was funny when Taeyang tried to correct his English. At the encore session, Seungri said to the audience " Are you want more? " then Taeyang was smiling and said to him " Do you want more? " After that Seungri asked the audience again " do you want more? " LOL

Daesung was another one who really surprised me at the concert! Since i don't know Big Bang so well, the impression he gave me was that he had quite a serious face in MVs and some concerts i watched on YouTube. But actually he is very very friendly! He smiled all the way and the way he looked at the crowd was like... so sincere...OMG, he was so sweet looking! And needless to say, Daesung's voice is amazing, he is a very good singer, he should have released solo albums :)

Aww... my favourite, Taeyang!!! i'm really crazy over him, his smile was really mesmerizing and he was super hyper on stage! And he liked to be shirtless, well, nothing is wrong with that if you have a nice and sexy body :P He removed his shirts twice if i'm not wrong and he threw them to the crowd. Whoever managed to snatch them were lucky, lol XD i think he is not considered handsome but i just find him very cute and i really really love his voice. His voice is very soulful and his solo songs are just so great :) And of course i love the way he dances, especially when he's shirtless, lol, just kidding, ok, i'm mainly attracted by his voice and his smiles XD

The concert was awesome and i wish they will come back again for more concerts very soon! i spotted a lot of fanboys too, who says only girls love Big Bang? i dragged my brother along to go watch the concert with me and surprisingly he liked their performance, he enjoyed himself more than me i think, haha XD

Legoland Malaysia

i was at Legoland Malaysia last week :)

i was very excited since the day i knew that they were building this place and before i knew it, it was built already !

There are 7 restaurants in Legoland and i think the one left a deeper impression on me is the Market Restaurant because of how it looks :P

It's really cute, isn't it?

i think my most favourite place would be the Miniland. It's just amazing to see all the landmarks built by Lego bricks :)

i only bought a key-chain from Legoland :P

It seems they are building a Lego themed water theme park which will be opening in 2013 and a Legoland Hotel in 2014! i can't wait for the hotel to be ready, it will be so cute i think!
