I'm addicted...

hmm... it's been a week since my last post... i was busy with work ( as usual ) and i've got a new hobby... haha... i've been busy playing with my dolls.. lol :P
i've just got another new Pullip, her name is Latte... hehe... i'm totally crazy coz i've already got 4 dolls just in 2 weeks! damn it... i'm so addicted to them~!
oh my god, isn't she cute? i've always wanted to own her! haha...

Genting V.S KL

it's been a long time since i last visited Genting Highland... now it's still the peak season so you can see a lot of people there... it took about 2 hours just to check in to the hotel! terrible! everywhere is crowded... need to wait to play in its theme park too...


wanted to try Fun Kart but the minimum height requirement is 153 cm... i said to my bro that i couldnt play that coz i'm too short but my bro said it was ok then he asked me to queue with him... we waited for about 45 mins and in the end the staff did not allow me to play! i was so embarassed! haha... anyway i knew they won't let me coz i know my height... now you know i'm so short~! the weather was so cold that i could feel the 'pain' in my bones when the wind blows but i still managed to take a few pics...
i took quite a lot of pics in the hotel room... too bored already... pose and pose... kept asking my bro to help me take pics... i think he can't stand me too... haha..
ok, call me crazy if you want, i brought my Pullip and TaeYang with me! i took more pics of them than myself!haha... they are too adorable~! love them lots!



didn't go much places in KL... only went to a few shopping centres... bought a little bit of stuff..


i was so happy that i saw Pullip in a toy shop at Berjaya Times Square! i was thinking whether to buy it or not... my bro said it's expensive but i don't care! i love her so much! bought it for RM380... it's worth it coz she is really adorable... erm...ok, at least i think so.. haha..

me opening up my Pullip doll...

Yeah~!

yeah~! i'm on leave~! it's only one week but at least it's better than nothing! but one week is really short.... can't go anywhere... only can go on a short trip back to hometown... this time i will be spending time with my family... :)

One more day to go...

haiz... 4 days of night shift are really torturing... it's like the time is moving so slow... tonight is the last day and after that i will be going on leave... can't wait~! last night was quite busy, i got 2 new admissions and 1 death... on top of that i had to entertain one very irritating patient... sorry i had to label the patient as 'irritating' coz i really dunno what to describe her.... i already tried to be as patient as possible when i attended to her but i have my limits too ok... this patient, she would scream, shout and scold vulgar words all the times...she is very noisy until the rest of the patients can't sleep... i think you can hear her voice in the opposite ward too... aiyo, one of the relative of other patient asked me why never give any injection to make this patient sleep, i said the doctor doesn't give sedation anyhow coz it ever happened that one patient never wake up after sedation was given... this patient's voice can really make us have palpitation, when she shouts, you must immediately attend to her, if not, i think the whole hospital can hear her scream.... i got other patients to look after too, i can't spend all my time on her... what am i supposed to do? this early morning she said she wanted to pass urine, i assisted her to sit on the bedside commode, then she said she wanted to call the police to send her home!!!! she insisted to call police, i told her police won't entertain her because she is in the hospital! then i didn't want to argue with her, i asked my colleague to take over coz i got other things to do... after she finished passing urine she refused to go back to her bed, she insisted to sit on her wheelchair and go to counter there to make phone call... my colleague wanted to assist her to go back to her bed but she shouted to ask me to attend to her, she said she wanted the 'chinese' nurse ( by the way, my colleague is an indian), haiz.... i shouldn't have talked to her in cantonese, she knows i can speak cantonese so everytime she wants me to go to her... no choice too coz my other colleagues don't understand her.... sometimes i really feel so 'sian' , it's not good to be a chinese if you are working in the hospital coz ppl will ask you to translate and attend to patients that can't speak english or malay.... it's not that you don't want to help, but you are already busy with your own work you really can't spend time to do all this... and those non-chinese staff would pretend they dunno anything and push everything to you coz they will tell you they can't speak chinese so they cannot attend to patients... haiz..

work sucks~!

today i was in the mrt train listening to my mp3... when i looked up, i saw the Okamoto condoms advertisement sign board... it's about their 003 platinum condom.... it says something like " Okamoto condom 003 platinum... the thinnest condom... made to ISO standard... no.1 in japan... " when i saw the word 'ISO', i was like " wow, condom also must be ISO credited!" my work place just went through ISO audit so i am quite 'sensitive' to the word 'ISO'... lol... hahaha~!

Finally over!

what a stressful day today... nursing officer came early to the ward to prepare for ISO audit... kept telling us this and that... some more ask us to remember some 'new' stuff... how do you expect us to absorb everything in a short period of time? today we didn't just come to the ward to wait for people to audit us... we still need to work you know... we are already busy with our own work and you still ask us to listen to your nagging and stuff... haiz... i guess we didn't do very well for this audit... anyway it's over... next year JCI audit will make us stress again! can die man~!

STRESS!!! Real stress!

arrghh... ISO audit is coming tomorrow! it makes us damn stressful... nursing officer nag and nag and nag non-stop... everyday work until very tired... after work still need to stay back and get all the scolding... i wonder are we going to improve after so much of scolding and nagging... we are humans so we would make mistakes, but they don't allow us coz they want everything to be PERFECT... then why not you go and hire a robot to work for you? even robot can make mistake coz it is created by human also... F*ck~ everyday work so busy where got time to study all the policies... we have our own private life too ok? we didn't SELL our soul or body to the hospital!!


damn it... i really hate my job!

Cycle of death?

yesterday i was not doing in-charge... my preceptee and my other colleague were taking cases... guess what, i did 2 'last office' during one shift! early in the morning 6am one patient passed away but the nite duty staff never do the last office... so me and my colleague had to do it... then at around 10am, another patient passed away... again i had to do the last office... my colleague said "how come today 'pack' so many"... lol... currently in my ward got quite a number of sick cases... i guess soon there will be another death case coz it always comes in a 'package' of 3!! i wonder why there are always 3 deaths in a short period of time... hmm...

Terrible night duty!

another night shift just ended... my 3 days of night duty really kill me! i work until i felt like dying... this time i had to take care of all the violent and uncooperative patients... me and my colleague had a hard time dealing with the patients.... all trying to climb out of bed , somemore they are very high risk for fall... one of them was the very typical geriatric patient, demented and high risk of fall, behaves strangely only during at night, very violent, trying to kick and beat us..... when my colleague tried to take his temperature, he said my colleague wanted to murder him....... when i walked towards, he said i'm the 'helper' of the murderer... what the hell? he became very agitated and no choice we had to restrain him.... 4 persons to restrain an elderly... haiz.. he was so strong! guess what, after we tied him down, he calm down a lot... even able to follow our instructions! some patients become more violent and agitated if they are restrained but this patient was totally different... i find it very strange, i guess this patient enjoyed being tied down... haha.. if we never tie him he would definitely climb or even jump out of bed and fall down...

my 3 nights kept entertaining all this 'nonsense' created by patients... one of the patients also almost the same, kept coming out of bed... we caught him walking towards the centre counter of the ward with his blood dripping all over the floor because he pulled out his intravenous drip!
oh my god, the important thing is he can't even walk properly ! he was almost going to fall when we saw him! luckily he never fall down... if not, i think i can go and kill myself! haiz...

people think that night shift is very relaxing but i can tell you that it is wrong! i didn't even have ONE minute of rest! damn tiring and stressful!

okay, enough of my 'complaints'....

Back to jb yesterday with bao bei ... went to Elle hair studio to have a new hair-cut... now my hair is shorter and much more easier to manage esp. when i'm rushing to work... feeling hungry after we stepped out of the salon... hmm... i decided to eat at Vivo's Pizza, since bao bei has not try it before...

Stress!

Today is a busy day at work... somemore i have to 'take care' of my preceptee... haiz...damn stressful... already very busy with work and i really have no time to guide her along..i could only teach her after work... there are so many things for a new comer to learn... me as a preceptor is even more stressed out than the preceptee i guess! arrghh....

hmm...at least i got a sunday off tomorrow! yeah... bao bei here i come... hehe...

Today is my bao bei 's birthday. Happy Birthday dear!

Hope you enjoyed our lunch today at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao. We were a bit greedy... ordered 6 dishes... in the end we can't finish our food... haha.. those food don't look so nice right? but they taste good!

Everytime we go to town we would definitely go to far east plaza... dunno why..it used to be my favourite place when i was still studyin in poly... thought it was good for shopping that time... now i go there i can't really find clothing that attracts me... i guess i have weird taste.. haha.. but not really actually.... just look at this dress .... it's quite normal looking but i like it.. bought it from Mis'skuzi... thanks to bao bei... his b'day i also got present.. hehe..

Transformers anyone?

Transformers was not so popular until its own movie came out ... it's getting more and more expensive after the movie shown up...there are some fake ones too from china...for those that know nothing at all about transformers won't be able to tell which is the real or fake from pictures ( just like me.. haha ) coz they look quite real in pictures...

Can you tell which is the real one? for guys i'm sure you know which is the fake one.. so obvious rite? haha... the fake one only costs about S$30 but the real one is about S$200... why buy the original one...so expensive! buy the fake one better.. it's just a toy anyway... my bao bei bought the fake one too... haha..

It's raining now at pasir ris...so bored...nothing to do...bao bei is playing with his psp... as usual...

They are my darlings...Chip and Dale...i call them Dale 仔 and Chip 仔... why must i add '仔' ? i don't know...i treat them as my babies...haha...

Here are the 'before' and 'after' look... so which do you prefer? with shirt or without? i think they look more adorable with the shirt on... :) but Chip 仔 looks a bit fat? i didn't feed him too much ice-cream i guess! i know why he is fatter...coz i always hug Dale 仔 until he becomes thinner and thinner but i never hug Chip 仔 ! what a stupid reason huh? lol... bao bei says i dote on Dale 仔more than Chip 仔 coz i only hug and kiss Dale 仔! then now i started to hug them both!

Vivo City

Went to Vivo City with bao bei yesterday...Sg is too small...no place to go..that's why we decided to go there...as usual, there were quite a lot of people....i told bao bei it's been a long time since i last bought something for myself...i thought i wanted to buy some clothes for myself but i didn't find anything that really attracts me YET until i saw a tube dress in Forever 21! actually the dress is quite simple but i kinda like it so i took a size S and went to try it on...guess what, i couldn't fit in! erm... i mean, it couldn't fit me! it was quite loose so i asked the lady there and she said there's no smaller size for that dress...i was quite sad coz i never thought i can be that skinny! lol... no, i'm not skinny...the dress is too big! haha...

Bao bei started to say he's hungry and kept asking me what to eat for our dinner...in the end we decided to dine at Sushi Tei... seriously speaking, i 've never been to Sushi Tei before... we always went to Sakae Sushi instead... so we just wanted to try... although we need to wait before we can get a seat, the food was served quite fast after we ordered it... i was having Salmon Cream Sauce and don't ask me why i don't eat raw salmon... haha.. go to jap restaurant and yet i don't eat raw salmon...a bit weird right? :P i should have taken a picture of my Salmon Cream Sauce so that you can understand what i'm talkin' about... anyway, here comes my favourite cawamushi.....

hmm... this cawamushi was not really nice but there was real crab meat inside! haha..normally those cawamushi at other places only give you fake crab meat but here it's the real one... too bad the taste of this cawamushi was not up to my standard... lol...

Sleeping day

finally i have finished my 4 days of night shift...this time around was not too bad coz it was not so busy and i had less patients to take care of. how i wish everytime my night shifts would be like that! must enjoy my 3 days off then...

Sunday off!

finally i will have my day off tomorrow! i have been waiting for so long...another busy week just ended for me, next week i m going to start night shift again...haiz...tiring isn't it? i felt like i have no life! i don't even have extra time to buy birthday gifts for my bao bei and my dear bro...their birthdays are just around the corner...i m always complaining...complain almost everything! lol..

today was very busy at work...need to look after the students, the patients...so busy...patients were uncooperative, restless....need to be restrained in bed, no choice...it's to protect their safety, to prevent falls...haiz...after work still need to attend journal club...my nursing officer forced us to go...in the end i reached home at around 5 plus..as if i worked for 10 hours today!

busy until never go for a break...never eat and drink...so hungry... aiyo...

Tiring...

Finished another round of nite duty....today is my sleeping day and tomorrow i have to go back work again! tired, tired, tired....normally i would have another rest day after my sleeping day before i go back to work but this time i don't have it...it's not the first time anyway! haiz...

Attitude problem?

i had a hard time dealing with one of my patient's daughter.this patient actually just discharged from my ward not long ago and all our ward staff know that this relative need 'TLC' but so far i didn't have a 'chance' to talk to this relative when the patient was in my ward.finally i had my 'chance'...well,i guess she doesn't have any medical or nursing background but she's just not a simple person.i know she is concern about her father's condition but it doesn't mean that she can anyhow 'complain' about us.her father which is my patient,admitted from emergency dept to my ward with a intravenous plug on his right hand. during team doctors round in the morning,consultant ordered to off drip and off plug.at that moment patient was quite OK with no fever but he developed fever in the late afternoon.so team doctors decided to start intravenous antibiotic for the patient, tat means need to insert another new iv plug for the patient. in the evening the patient's daughter came to visit her father and found out that patient has a new iv plug. she was very angry and asked me why we remove the old one.i explained to her but she was not satisfied.she wanted to speak to the consultant but in my hospital normally the consultant won't call relative personally,only the house officer or medical officer will call patients' relative.she even said that the doctors sound sarcastic when they talk to her.is that my fault? i'm only a nurse,a nurse that carries out doctors' orders. why do you want to make my work so difficult?

Just started out...

hmm...yesterday was another busy day at work. i was having very bad sore throat ( still having it now ) , so painful when i talk or even swallow my own saliva but i still have to work so hard... i had a patient that was going to transfer to SGH and my sister ( nursing officer ) actually wanted me to send the patient . i told her that i 'm having very bad sore throat and i need to see a doc after work. so in the end i didn't have to go. thank goodness if not i guess i would lose my throat !
