Sigh...

Recently i sold something to someone who stays in Italy. i sent out the item by normal air-mail on 24th of Dec last year but until now the buyer has not received it. Usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks to reach Europe but i didn't send anything to Italy before so i'm not sure how long it takes. i tried to search around internet and found out there are people having problem with shipping to Italy, even Magma Heritage doesn't ship to Italy too. People said that even registered mail is not 100% safe, it even took more than a month to arrive sometimes and the worst, some mail never even reached the recipient.... i was thinking, mine is not a registered mail, i guess most probably the mail got lost! Sigh...

The buyer informed me that she has not received the item but i told her we just have to wait and see... i hope the mail is not lost, even if it cannot be delivered due to wrong address or whatever reason, it should be sent back to me but so far i didn't receive anything. i don't know what will happen if the item really never reach the buyer, i wonder if she will ask for refund or something. BUT, i have already stated clearly in my sale thread that i will not hold any responsibility if item lost during the process of delivery. So by right i don't have to refund because it was a normal mail, not registered. Still, if i really don't want to refund her, how am i going to explain to her? She might think that i 'cheat' on her... sigh...

Then in the end i guess i have to refund although i DO NOT need to actually coz i've done my part by packaging the item carefully, making sure that the buyer's address was correct, as well as my address in case it sends back to me. i'm just worried if i don't refund, this incident might affect my reputation as a seller.

SIGH...
