It's been quite a while since i last met up with the 'gang' :P

Dolls plus friends meeting is always the best !

Glad that my life is finally 'coming' back, lol. Attending doll meet, taking photos, buying new dolls ( LOL ) .... that's what i love to do most XD

i still have a new girl not yet de-boxed and another one on the way :P 

And some of my girls need to be re-wigged but i haven't had the time to let them try on the wigs i bought a while ago. Hmm... old ones not settled but new ones still coming !

It feels good to have my hands on my camera again! It's been 2 months since i last took photos of my dolls with my camera. Last week i got myself 2 dolls because of my itchy hands, lol. One of it was Pullip Kiyomi, i named her Shion.

i decided to get her after i saw her out-of-box pics. i'm glad i got her coz i realize i like her lots after i de-boxed her. i love her face and her outfit.

First time taking photos in my new home, i think the lighting was not very good. i prefer outdoor shoot but sometimes i want to use some color backdrops too so it's better to do that indoor if i were to use backdrops.

i think there are places for me to take dolls photos around my flat area so i will 'explore' the places when i have time, i guess this area is better than my previous place, for dolly shoot XD

Happy 6th Anniversary

Happy 6th Anniversary to me and hubby, haha :P

Well, it's not wedding anniversary, 6 years ago on this day we became couple :) Maybe a lot of people don't really remember or celebrate this day after they got married but i think it is a very important day too, because, if you don't get together, how could you get married after that? If there's no me and you together, there's no marriage, right?

Anyway, my house is almost settled, but we are still waiting for the dresser ( omg, it takes forever to arrive ). But we haven't decided how to complete the decoration of the living room. It's very hard because i'm worried that our 'design' would look terrible, lol. 

i haven't started to 'touch' my dolls yet, but i have started to display my other stuff like the soft toys, Re-ment, etc. Actually i thought we don't have ' a lot ' of toys but it seems the space in our display cabinets are not enough for us, lol.

Hmm... i miss my camera and i really miss taking pics of my dolls.... it's been almost 2 months since i last took photos with my camera. My dry box is still not shifted yet, and of course the cameras are still there. i wish i can quickly move them to my new home. i'm supposed to submit my entry photo for the final round of the contest but i really didn't have enough time to think of an idea and to take photo for the contest. It's due already, i have to give up, no choice, sigh.....

New life at new home !

Wow, it's been more than a month since my last post. Life's been busy ever since the renovation of my house started. It started, it finished, i moved in, but i'm still busy :P

Moving house is never easy, i thought that we didn't have 'a lot' of things but actually we have quite a lot, lol. Mainly are toys or toy related stuff -_-'''

Our things were all moved in, except for the dry box and our cameras. Things were moved in but it's not 'done' yet coz we still need to arrange, sort them and put them at the appropriate places and this really takes time.

We love our new home but we don't like that this place is 'developing'. i mean, it's good that it is developing but because of it, it's very dusty and inconvenient since they are still building the new flats around here. It's hard on us coz no matter how many times we clean our house, it gets dusty very quickly.

My darlings finally moved to their new home but i still don't have enough time to pose them nicely. They're all like this in the display cabinet at the moment :P

Sleeping beauties, haha, but they don't close their eyes though, lol. i hope to play with them soon, i have neglected them for too long already.

Another week has gone and it has been tiring. Almost everyday after work we went to our new home to see the progress of the renovation, it's really tired and i felt like i don't really have enough sleep. i didn't even touch my iMac for a week, lol. 

Renovation will be completed soon and i will be busy cleaning the home in the following weeks. i guess most probably i will be able to move in to my new home in early May if everything goes smoothly. Now i have to slowly start packing my stuff. i guess the most difficult things to pack are my dolls, lol, coz they're 'fragile'. But i bet they will be very happy to see their new home, haha, coz some of them have been kept in boxes for so long since i have no extra space to display them in my current place.

Finally the day is approaching...... XD

Taipei trip

i was on a short Taipei trip last weekend with my family. Went to a few places but i didn't take much photos.

We were at Yang Ming Shan, it was the wrong timing to be there coz most of the cherry blossoms have already withered. i thought i managed to see one....

Are they cherry blossoms? Seriously i can't really recognize them especially there were other flowers around which look similar.

There were a lot of azaleas.... i thought they were quite pretty too :P

Well, i never failed to bring a doll with me whenever i go traveling XD

Those red bokeh in the pics were all azaleas :) i saw some cherry blossom trees along the roadside at Dan Shui area, i think it would look really beautiful when they first bloom. Hopefully next time i can go to Taiwan at the 'right' timing :P

Yup, we went to Mr. J, that is the restaurant of Jay Chou. i don't consider myself as a fan of Jay but i do love his songs and recently i'm slowly starting to 'admire' him, lol. So, am i a fan? XD

i was curious, that was why i decided to go there. They serve french-italian food. i was very surprised that the food actually tasted good!

This is the Grilled Baby Back Ribs. i dunno how to describe but it's nice !

John Dory Fish. It's the pan fried John Dory with garlic hazelnut served with seafood sauce. If you love creamy stuff, you'll love it :)

This one doesn't look too appetizing, huh? But i tell you, it was actually really nice, i love that they added basil in it :) i forgot the name of this dish, i think it was Basil Duck Pasta or something. 

As you can see, everywhere in the restaurant are faces of Jay and they play Jay's songs as well. So, if you hate him, better don't go there, lol. But the food was really nice !!

This is the French milk tea, it was quite different from the typical Taiwanese one. It was less sweet but i think it's still nice !

i might want to go there again if i have the chance, or maybe i would like to go to Jay's other restaurants since he has another 2 :P

As usual, i would buy some 'useless' stuff whenever i go on a trip XD

But this time was not bad, coz i didn't buy a lot, haha... 

i have been playing Snoopy's Street Fair game on my iPhone recently so i am a little crazy over those peanuts characters XD i thought i rarely see Snoopy's stickers around so i decided to get it since it looks cute too ! And that diary, well, i have the habit of taking notes down on certain important stuff so usually i use this type of diary. i was using a Rilakkuma one for 2011. i didn't really plan to get one in Taiwan coz i wanted to get one in SG but they were having sales on this item there so i decided to get one :P

Frankly speaking, i think i am not the type of person who would spend money on handphone accessories but i changed after i got an iPhone, lol. Well, i already got a cover for my phone but i bought another one when i was at Taipei! This Sanrio one tempted me so badly, i thought it looks cuter than any other similar ones which i have seen in SG! That slipper thingy is like a screen cleaner, it's really cute! And lastly, the Popobe bear headphone jack plug!

It's been 2 weeks since my last post. It's not as busy as the previous weeks these few days since majority of our discussion on the renovation has been done. But of course sometimes we still need to meet up with the interior designer to clarify some details. Seriously i think it's really tiring during the renovation period, both mentally and physically. Not only you have to meet up with your interior designer frequently, you have to go around searching for the furniture and accessories that you like.

Recently i feel that i have lost touch with my dollies because i was too busy and i totally have no time to play with them. Luckily i managed to do a small photoshoot yesterday with my Alys.

Isn't she adorable? i couldn't resist this girl !

Today my photo was on Explore and i'm number 5 on the Clickr Chart, lol. This is my first time to have the 'highest' rank in Explore and i know it will drop but still i'm very happy, lol.

Hmm... i think next week at this time i will be very happy coz i'm going for a short trip, heehee XD
