i love the colours in these photos especially the first one :) The colourful flowers look very beautiful and it's always the 'best' background for Pullips XD

i like how An looks with hat / hair accessories, i don't know why. Maybe those things sort of 'taming' her wig coz i think i spoiled her stock wig when i removed it :( i think most probably she would remain in her stock wig. i tried some wigs on her but i wasn't satisfied, i thought she looks best in her stock wig. Usually i don't keep so many extra wigs but nowadays it's getting harder to re-wig so i bought more wigs to 'stand-by' and it's really wasting $ but i can't help it coz it really irritates me if i can't get a 'satisfied' look for my dolls!

New Year's Resolution

Before i go on for my new year's resolution for 2012, i guess i should do some 'reflection' over last year's ones, lol.

Hmm.... so i was saying that i wanted to work hard on my Japanese studies but in the end i didn't ! i was really stressful during a long period last year because of my work and wedding preparation. i couldn't focus on my studies so i didn't have the 'heart' to study, to revise and i couldn't catch up, in the end i gave up.... given up totally.... i have stopped going for lesson.... i just feel that i have kinda lost interest in learning Japanese, partly is because of money and also some other reason which i shall not elaborate more.

Yes, food photography :) i did take some food photos and uploaded them in my blog here but not a lot. Not many nice food for me to take photos XD i should try harder this year !

The last resolution for last year was to lose weight... well, i managed to lose 2 kgs only, lol. But i think it was still considered a 'success', lol. Ever since my wedding was over, i didn't go back to my exercise regime, that is really really bad, but i am so lazy!

Ok, what are the resolutions for this year?

As usual, photography is very important to me so i hope my skills can be improved. Sometimes i take photos just for the sake of taking, it's like, i was looking at the 'quantity' and not the 'quality'. So i hope i can change that. Today i just learn something new in Photoshop, a different way to edit the photo, i like the colors in the above picture :)

The next is, to slow down my Pullips collection! Ya, i know, it's such a big joke right? lol. Coz this is like a mission impossible for me, haha XD But i think i have to think about this seriously. Although i will be moving to my new house, i don't think i will have enough space to display them if the numbers are growing rapidly. Other than the space problem, i think i can't spend enough time with each of them, i think i can't manage so many dolls. i can't imagine how the others can manage it, i mean, a lot of people have more dolls than me. i think, if i don't have enough time to spend with each of them, they would be left 'unattended' for so long. i think it is really not nice, i really don't wish to neglect any of them. Few weeks ago i was doing so cleaning for my dolls cabinets, it was so dusty, i had to clean all my dolls one by one, because they were all, erm, almost covered up by dust on their faces, bodies, hair, everywhere -_-''' i don't think i would have that much of energy to do the cleaning up for them if their numbers increase rapidly. i have thought about it, i am thinking if i want to continue this hobby, i might need to sell some of the dolls which i have lost interest in. With this way i can buy new ones and after some time the whole process repeats again, which is to sell the less 'favourited' dolls. Previously i strongly believed that i would never ever sell my dolls but what happened now? i have sold 3 boys and i don't even miss them, lol. It's like that, you find it hard to sell your 1st one, but after that you won't feel the 'pain' when you sell the others. So i won't be surprised if i ever sell my girls in the future XD But definitely not now :P

Lastly, this is the same with last year's, i wanna lose weight! Maybe not exactly to lose weight but at least i must go back to my exercise regime. i should really take care of my body, i want to be healthy !

Supposed to have my half day off today but i couldn't have it coz my colleague was on mc. Sigh.... i hate our shift system :(

i couldn't go for my facial appointment today :(

Why am i so bothered about the 'half day' off? My facial package with Bioskin is the 'off peak' package, which means, facial during weekdays from morning until 4.30pm. i can only go for facial during the 'selected' time, if not, i can't go. So, of course that half day off is very important to me. Previously we have no problems with our 'half days', that was why i decided to sign up that kind of package, but who knows nowadays everything changes, our 'half days' are not 'secured' anymore. It's insane to change my package to the 'normal' type, because i have to top up around $2K if i want to change it! Bioskin is crazy right? Absolutely.

Yesterday we supposed to have a doll gathering at the Tiong Bahru Park but unfortunately it was raining so we didn't go to the park. We went to a cafe called One Orange Thimble.

We took a group photo of our dolls. The photo looks terrible i think XD

These cute little angels belong to Ivy. My favourite is the one with the bell on his head, lol.

i ordered The English Breakfast. It was quite nice but i forgot to take a photo of it. Actually i wanted to order the others but i don't quite understand the menu, lol.

After that we went to another cafe called Drips. Their ice chocolate looked nice but i think they put too much ice so it was not very sweet, i prefer sweet ice chocolate.

And i received lots of gifts from the girls, thanks so much XD

Hubby brought me to a place called Artichoke today. We wanted to have lunch there but they don't have much varieties on food, they have more on drinks. Both of us ordered the same thing.

Salmon & Beetroot... A little bit disappointed when we saw this. LOL. It's not that it tasted awful, it was just not our type of food, haha XD

Yeah! Hubby bought me these 3 little cuties. The black and red polka dots ones are supposed to be the xmas edition. And look, that's a PINK Le Sucre ! i didn't know they have the pink one, i thought they only have the regular white, brown and black.

It is not obvious in the photos but she has glitters on her ears, face and body, and she is wearing a cute purple dress, lol. We have a lot of Le Sucre bunnies already but obviously we can't get enough of them XD

Nowadays we like to slack at the cafe. Everytime i would bring a doll and hubby would bring his Lego minifig. Before we left Artichoke, i managed to take some photos of Kasumi and after that we went to Vanilla ( yes, it's Vanilla again, lol, i just can't resist their Half Wings! ) It was raining when we were on our way to Vanilla but still i took some photos inside :P The above pic was taken in Vanilla though.

i will upload the photos i took at Artichoke to my Flickr. Lazy to edit those photos now. Wanna sleep early tonight, and it's still raining, should be nice to sleep :P

i borrowed my brother's camera to do this photo-shoot and i simply love how it turned out ! Carl Zeiss lens is great although it's manual focus. i dunno why but the colours just look different with this lens and i like it :P

today i was told that i have to take turns with a colleague to work in liang court on saturdays until the end of this year.

wtf.

they said it is very busy in liang court nowadays so they need one more staff to help out on saturdays because it's busier on saturdays....

normally in liang court they close the clinic at 1.30pm but, if it's busy, i can't even guarantee myself that i can knock off at 1.30pm, maybe we have to stay until 2pm or even later.

i am already very very unhappy that i couldn't get my 'proper' half day every week and now you tell me this kind of nonsense. we work more than what we supposed to work you know. no half day every week and now need to work long hours on saturdays.

what bull shit is this !

people said we shouldn't talk about work in facebook or blog but why can't i rant on my own blog? sometimes i really wish that i would have the guts to rant about work related stuff on facebook.... sigh...

Yesterday afternoon we were at the Vanilla Bar & Cafe. It's been so long since we last went there. Months ago we were busy for our wedding preparation so we didn't really have time to go out and enjoy ourselves. i miss this place XD

The pork cutlets was not bad too ~! i like that the pork cutlets were cut into small slices.

My favourite has got to be the Half Wings ~ ! i really like it ^_^ It tastes the best when you eat it fresh and hot !!! Yummy !

Have been sorting out my dolls and stuff recently.... finally i decided to sell 3 of my boys. It was sad but i think i shouldn't keep them with me if i have lost interest in them. i tried my best to do whatever i can to create the 'bonding' with them but still i'm not satisfied. Looking at my 'growing' doll family, i think i should do something so that it won't be 'over-crowded', lol. New release dolls are always there tempting me, i wanted to control myself but it's way too difficult :( Now i have started selling my boys, maybe in the future i might sell my girls too, who knows -_-'''

i'm not a millionaire so i cannot always buy new dolls XD Since i m going to move in to my new home after renovation, expenses will be much higher than my current situation, so i can't spend $ like water anymore, lol.

Sigh... just recovered from tonsillitis not long ago and i've got skin problems now....

Sometimes i really hate my body, i always got those 'funny' problems. Those 'sickness' might not be serious but they are enough to irritate me to the max!

i was at the park nearby my house taking photos last Wednesday ( i need those photos for my wedding photo montage ) and the next day, i got itchy red spots on my legs. At first i thought it was hives, but actually i had this kind of itchy red spots before. Just seen a doctor, he said this is probably insect bites. The worst thing is, he said it might take 2 weeks for the itch to go away. i really dunno how i got this, maybe i got it when i was at the park. So unlucky right? i have sensitive skin, i think that is why my skin 'reaction' to the bites is too strong. It can be due to immunity too, when your immunity is low, even your skin can be very 'fragile'. So why is my immunity low? Stress lah! Yup, now i blame everything on the stress!

It's been so long since i last blogged....

So now i have been transferred back to hq, things got better? i don't think so...

Just back for a week and i fell sick, it's totally sickening. Of course i want to be back to hq but my body, my lousy weak body, can't get back to its 'previous' status, so i fell sick. And of course there are other things bothering me, so here and there give me stress and in the end i 'gave up' and fell sick.

i also don't know what i'm stressed for... i think to 'get married' is like a burden, i mean to go through all those custom thingy is really a stress to us. To plan and prepare is a stress, to gain agreement from both sides is a stress, indirectly unhappiness 'created' also brings another stress to us.

i think becoz of my wedding i become very emotionally unstable sometimes. In the first place i am already a person who 'thinks too much' , and now i'm more unstable, i even think more and more and become very sensitive. i easily cry these days, very emotional, i always feel that nobody understands me...

Wedding is already a big 'burden' and now at work i also need to face other problems, i really hate it... i'm back to the place and i felt like i need to clean up the mess other has made. It's like i have to 'take over' whatever people have left but it's not something well done that i can just take over easily, it's a mess that i have to take over. If i wasn't transferred, this kind of mess will not happen, becoz i will always control and do my best. Now who is going to clean up the mess, you think that person will do it? Why can't people just be more responsible? You made the mistake and you should correct your mistake.

That's why i said, work so hard for what, no one is going to appreciate it, so all those people are clever, they don't care, they don't work hard, i am only the stupid one...

We went to BNY studio today to collect our photo album and to try out gowns.
When we checked our album we realize there is something wrong with one of the photo so in the end they have to take back the album to amend it. i was a bit disappointed coz i thought they are quite professional and shouldn't make this kind of stupid mistake. Then now we can't have the soft copies, we can't do our video montage. i hope they will finish the amendment soon.

Recently i'm preparing my wedding guests' list, sent some invitation messages to some friends. i'm quite sad that some of them never even replied my message. i mean, even if you don't wish to come, why can't you just say so? i won't mind if you're not coming but at least you give me some responses. i treat you as a friend but what do you treat me as? If i think you are nothing to me, i wouldn't bother to invite you. If i invite you, that means somehow you are an important friend to me... Sigh, it's very sad la!

Actually i think my 2nd entry would be better to suit this theme coz Marina Bay Sands hotel is quite creative to me but too bad that i have already used it for that entry. i can't wait to know the result but the contest ends on 15th August, so it's still long way, lol. i'm so eager to know who will be the winner coz the winner will get a NRFB Pullip! Today we received an email from our manager, it was about our internal transfer. Finally, i will be transferred back to HQ on the 15th of August. My count down started today...

Still, i'm very unhappy about my annual leave's problem. i have asked my manager that why hasn't my leave be approved. She said it was becoz of the internal transfer so they need to check if that period of time is ok for me to take leave or not. i was told that my leave will be approved when they officially announced my 'return' to HQ, so now it was announced, then what about my leave? i want to plan my honeymoon trip asap so that we can get cheaper price for air-tickets and hotel but now i can't do any booking if my leave isn't approved. i'm really unhappy about this. i hate that this kind of thing happen in this year, i mean, me being transferred here and there, some more it's near to my wedding period. i really hate it....

And the reason of me being transferred to LC in the first place, it's totally stupid.
One of the staff and a doctor have some problems, the doctor was not happy with this staff, so this doctor said that she can't continue working with this staff. That's why they switched me to replace that staff. Actually i don't blame that staff, she's quite close to me but i don't like the clinic's management. Why can't they ask someone else to replace? Why me? Anyway, don't talk about the transfer, no matter what i had no choice and accepted the transfer, the only thing that matters the most to me at this time is my leave. If my leave is approved early, i wouldn't be so upset now.

Recently i've been spending money like water.... First i got my 2 Yuki, then i bought an iMac and now my new girl is here but i can't see her yet at the moment.

Hmm... i have said that i wanted to control my doll collection but it seemed it is out of control now. LOL. Now it's only almost July, but i have bought myself 6 dolls already in this year!! It's terrible, all together i have 8 new dolls (2 of them were gifts) for now and 2011 is not finished yet -_-''' Talking about this new girl, she is the most expensive doll i ever paid for, so far the most ex one i have should be Fanatica but she was a gift. i hope i will like this new girl... i mean, sometimes you want a doll so much but once you really got it, things can change, whereas sometimes the dolls you never think of getting and ended up getting them, you love them to bits. For now i haven't seen and touched her in real so i can't really comment but i guess it should be alright since i don't really have problem bonding with Pullips XD

My new iMac... i love the big screen, i love the keyboard! i noticed that my work place at Liang Court, the computers are so damn slow, even you want to save a file, or open Excel file or whatever, it takes forever to load. Then i was thinking about iMac, everyone should use iMac or Macbook , lol. Now i finally realize the goodness of iMac XD

Finally Sera has a new wig! She has been bald for a while already, haha :P i think i love her this way, she looks so sweet to me :)

While i was taking her photos, i heard some noise came from my back. Someone was saying " are you serious? " When i turned around, there was this passerby, he said " are you serious? " At first i was shocked, i didn't say anything because the way he said was like making fun of me, then he asked again, "are you serious? that's weird..." i felt that he was indirectly saying that taking photos of a doll is lame -_-''' And the funny thing was, his friend was saying " is this a Bratz doll, i love Bratz doll... " LOL. If you like Bratz doll, of course you recognize it, right?

Later on i was taking this photo, another passerby came, he said "who are they?"... He quickly took a photo of them and left. i was a bit annoyed because he never asked me if he could take a photo. i know they are only toys but they are not for public display, they are our personal toys.

i was upset because in just one day, i was disturbed twice when i was taking photos. It's been 3 and a half years since i started my doll collection and i have been taking their photos in public many many times already but nothing like this had ever happened. i don't mind if people are staring at me but i just don't like people making fun of us when we take photos of our toys.

It's been 2 weeks since i started working at Liang Court. i'm getting used to it but still i'm not that happy as i prefer to work at HQ. i was told that i will be transferred back to HQ in early August after the new staff has arrived. i hope it is true and i can't wait for it. i kinda miss some of my colleagues in HQ. It's like, normally you don't realize it, but when you don't see those people around, you start to think of them....

Now i don't want to think so much about work, but all i think about is my annual leave. i hope my leave can be approved soon because this year i'm holding my wedding and i'm going for my honeymoon so i need to book air tickets asap.

What a surprise today...

i was told to transfer to work in Liang Court from tomorrow onwards. It was such a shock to me.
i'm totally not mentally prepared. Sigh.

That means no more half day system for me when i work there. Then it's troublesome to go there, i'm already staying so far, now even further coz i must take a bus to go to LC. Sian. Somemore it's expensive to have lunch there, the food there are so expensive, how to survive like that.

If i can choose, of course i don't want to work there but it seems i have no choice. i can only try to work and see. If i really hate the place, i will resign, i don't care.

i was sick for almost a week, although it was not serious enough to force me to take MC, it really bothered me a lot, my nose was stuffy all the way and my giddiness was the worst these days. Now i'm not completely recovered yet but i hope i can recover soon coz i'm really worried about my nose problem since i had sinusitis previously.....

Finally my PA 2 level started after almost 2 months of 'break'. And yes, i was supposed to do revision but i didn't really do it. i thought i could do it before lesson started but unfortunately i fell sick around this time. Well, i think this level is the most stressful one so far. New teacher, new classmates and the way of teaching is really different. Teacher said, strictly no English in the class, if we want to speak sth in English, we have to ask permission from teacher first, lol. i could understand what teacher was saying in the class but when she asked me something, i was like, my reaction was slow and couldn't answer it straight away. It was so stressful! It seemed everyone could respond quickly when they were asked. Sigh... Anyway, i think this teacher is really good, i felt i learnt quite a lot of new things in the first lesson.

Family outing~

Me and my brother gave our parents a treat to the Universal Studios Singapore and one night stay in Festive Hotel at the Resort World Sentosa :) We went to the USS on Thursday, it was raining even before we reached there so i was a bit 'sian' actually :( But we booked the tickets for that specific day so we had no choice but to go for it.

i think overall experience in the USS was just average, maybe i prefer Disneyland kind of theme park more. Hmm... or maybe i would prefer the Universal Studios in the America...

After we left USS, we checked in to Festive Hotel. i think their service was not bad.

This was our room, it consists of a king-sized bed, a loft bed and a sofa bed. Actually this room is designed for parents with kids but i thought it was suitable for my family too :P

The loft bed was actually quite small because it was for kid but i can sleep on it since i'm so short. LOL.

Too bad we didn't bring our swim wear, if not we can all go to 'play' water XD

The swimming pool was just outside of their Fiesta restaurant.

i was quite disappointed of the buffet breakfast at Fiesta. i think the variety was not good enough. i have not tried any other buffet breakfast at hotels in S'pore so i can't really compare. What i remembered was that the buffet breakfast at hotels in Taiwan and Hong Kong were really good. So i thought by paying S$28 ++ for this kind of breakfast there was not really worth it.

Yesterday i did something crazy! LOL. i went to the airport to wait for Avril Lavigne's arrival. i am not really a fan but i think she's quite cool, my bro is a big fan of hers so when he said that he wanted to go to the airport, i thought it was fun so i decided to join in XD

We reached the airport at around 10am. Initially my bro's friend said that Avril would be taking the 11.45am flight from Hong Kong. So we waited but she didn't appear. There were about 20 people waiting for her. So we checked out all the flights from Hong Kong and we waited. We went to one terminal to another just to make sure we could catch all the flights. There were too many flights from HK and we were not sure which one was the correct one. So for the whole day we were like running from Terminal 3 to 2 to 1 to 3 to 2 to 1 again and again but we didn't see her.

i thought they had the 'correct' info on which flight she was taking but it seemed it was not right. i was actually feeling a bit 'sian' already because i felt so stupid to wait there for nothing, lol. So in the end some fans had left because they thought it was not possible to see her. My brother also wanted to leave but i persuaded him to stay coz i was saying that i wanted to stay for the last time, if Avril still didn't appear, we would just go home ( we wouldn't want to stay until 12am obviously, there were so many night flights from HK! )

So we went to the Terminal 1 for our 'last hope'. Me and my bro saw 2 excursion buses parking outside. We were wondering if these buses were standing by for Avril. And then we were like 'making ourselves happy' only because we thought these might be the transport arranged for her. After that there were a few security guards (maybe they were staff) appeared at the arrival hall and they confirmed that Avril was taking this flight! At that moment, everyone suddenly became so excited because it was confirmed that she was coming! To tell the truth, i was very excited too, lol, i felt like i was a fan at that time XD

i was standing right in front of the gate so when she appeared, i quickly took her photos :)

Was she smiling at my camera????? Hehe.. i think this was the best shot coz she was looking at my direction XD i think i would die if i'm really a fan XD

i think she looked a bit tired but she was smiling all the way when she was signing autograph.

Too bad her sunglasses was too big, we can't see her face. LOL.

My brother managed to get her autograph :) i think previously he didn't get it when he went to the airport to see her in year 2008, i guess he must be very happy this time :)

After she left, her band members arrived. Although i don't know who was who, all of them were very friendly. The fans took photos with them and some of them even asked for their autographs. i did take some photos of them but i'm lazy to upload XD

Well, i think it was all worth it although we waited for more than 6 hours :) To be exact, me and my brother stayed in the airport for about 9 hours!!!

Yesterday we went to the bridal studio to choose our wedding photos and i was very excited about it XD

After i have seen the photos, i thought most of them were not bad. Some photos really have the 'feel' but the people inside spoiled the whole thing, lol, yeah, i'm talking about myself, my face spoiled the photos, haha XD But overall i think the photographer has done a pretty good job. i can't wait to get our album !

i was at Kinokuniya just now and i bought a book, it's for learning Japanese words. i think i should learn more vocabulary, i hope this book will help. There are a lot of Japanese language learning books but i think those Chinese versions look more useful because they have a lot of varieties. i'm really thankful that i'm a Chinese, haha, coz it's useful in many ways if you know Chinese :P

My next level is going to start soon and i heard from my previous sensei, the sensei for my next level is quite strict. Then i think it will be a little stressful, and also the classmates will be different, i wonder how is their standard...It will be very stressful for me if they speak very good Japanese!

Another week has gone and what have i done? Adding 3 more newbies to my lovely doll collection :P

It's been so long since i last bought 3 dolls at one go. i dunno what happened to me that day, lol. Luckily i didn't regret to get what i have bought. And, something good happened on the same day too, it was so nice that i couldn't believe it, i wish i could tell everyone about it but i can't!!!!!

Meet my first Isul, i named him Hakuto, he is an Isul Duke. i love him, he is just so adorable. He is like a little boy who is waiting to be loved!

Next, it's Pullip Prupate, i named her Ema. Her stock outfit is just amazing but i wonder if it fits an obitsu... hmm... i realize that after i de-boxed her, it seemed that she didn't really 'excite' me, i dunno why, she is pretty but something is lacking.... Maybe her wig turned me off too although i know that i will definitely re-wig her, i have to say that her wig quality is the worst i have seen on a Groove doll. i dunno if i'm unlucky or what, she came with some parts of her ponytail being all tangled up, it was covered up 'inside' her ponytail so it didn't look obvious in photos. Sigh, in that case i don't think i could sell her wig at a good price. Sh*t!

Yes, unexpected but it was love at first sight when i saw her at Magma Heritage. i have never thought of getting her when she was first released but now i love her :)
i named her Hiyori, her stock wig is amazingly nice, smooth and soft. i think i should keep her stock wig even after i have re-wigged her, just in case, i want her stock wig again XD
Hiyori is very ordinary looking but she just has that 'something' which attracts me so much :)

My birthday was just over :) Didn't have any big celebration, only went to Ann Siang Hill with my hubby. We slacked at a cafe called Vanilla. This was my second visit and i'm glad that i managed to find our way there coz i always couldn't recognize streets and places. LOL.

So we ordered Potato Wedges and Popcorn Chicken. i think the Popcorn Chicken tasted a bit strange. Hmm...

This is the Chocolate Smoothie i ordered.

Actually i like their Midnight Oreo Smoothie more. Hubby ordered that and i liked it ! Maybe next time i shall order it XD i received a new girl from hubby as my birthday present. Meet my new girl, Sera, she is a Pullip My Melody :)

i'm definitely changing her wig and most probably i will change her eye chips too :)

Doesn't need expensive presents, doesn't need a big party, doesn't need a big birthday cake..... as long as the person i love and the person who loves me is around, i'm satisfied :) A small piece of cake is enough for me. Thank you dear for singing a birthday song for me, i know you hate singing :P

Busy, busy, busy...

Recently i have been quite busy....

Just finished my wedding photo shoot on Monday. It was fun but tiring :P

i was nervous and couldn't relax myself, the photographer kept telling us to relax and have fun but it was difficult for me because i couldn't smile naturally in front of the camera -_-''''' The good thing was that the photographer tried to joke and make us smile naturally, hopefully the effect would be good, i am so excited to see the photos, but we dunno when the photos will be ready.

i think the most difficult part was, i had to wear heels during the photo shoot. i thought i didn't need to walk a lot but actually it was tiring although most of the time i was standing. Normally i don't wear heels at all so that day was like a 'training' for me. LOL.

That day i got to wear 4 different gowns but i was unable to take more photos of myself because we were too 'busy'.... i think this gown is my most favourite among the rest :)

By the way, i managed to finish my photos for the " Boys of Summer " project. Finally i have done it, i hope my photos are suitable for the theme. Looking forward to see others' photos too..

Starting from today i'm on one week leave XD

This week is supposed to be the week which i have to 'work' double hard for my weight loss plan because this weekend i'm going to the bridal shop to have the consultation, which means i'm going to choose my wedding gowns, to meet up with the photographer and to discuss about our photo shoot. Time flies, 2 more weeks to go before my wedding photo shoot but i'm still not satisfied with my body, i need to lose more weight!

At the same time i have to study for my Japanese language. It seems we will have test on the last day of our course for this current level. i wonder if i could move on to the next level. Seriously i don't have much confidence this time. If i couldn't pass this level, i have to re-do this level again and i have to pay for it again. i don't want to pay again for the same level !!!

Today i went to Bioskin to ask about their facial treatment and in the end i signed up their facial package, it costs me a bomb !!!

i have been going for facial at other places for many years, i think since i graduated from secondary school. So, to me facial is important and it's like a 'must' for every month. So far i have not encountered big problem after facial until last few months.... i have scars on my face caused by the ' squeezing' , i think the beauty therapist didn't do properly and it left scars. i am very unhappy about this and that's why i decided to go to other beauty centre. Since i have watched those tv shows featuring Bioskin treatments, i thought they are quite good, so i decided to choose to go to Bioskin.

They introduced me about this treatment called Bio P2X. They said they don't do 'squeezing' so i tried out this treatment. Usually all the beauty centres have their package thingy and it's like you have no choice but to sign up because package is so much cheaper than the individual treatment. At first i didn't want to take up their package, i just wanted to try out once first and see how. But that treatment costs about $700 for one time without package and it's totally crazy!!! Of course i wouldn't want to pay for $700 for just one time try out so in the end i took up their package -_-'''''

Well, i have to admit that their service was good and it wasn't painful like my previous facial sessions. For those who have experiences going for facial, i'm sure you know how painful it is, to go through the 'squeezing' part. Ouch!

Recently i was invited by friends to take part in a casual project called Boys of Summer photobook. i have to submit some photos of my Taeyang and the theme is Words, which means i have to do a shoot that is inspired by/revolves around a poem, a famous quotation, a movie line, a song lyric…i think it's quite difficult and seriously i can't think of anything at the moment and the dateline is end of this month. Hmm... i dunno which boy will be the model of my shoot too...

Shall i use a movie line? Or song lyric? No idea...

In my mind i could only remember ' you jump i jump '... LOL XD

說到用中文寫博客﹐其實我更應該用日文來寫﹐這樣才會進步。可是如果寫錯了﹐語法錯了﹐沒有人糾正我﹐那我怎麼進步呢﹖

Last week my Japanese language teacher said that we would have a test today. So what happened just now? Yes, we had a 'test' but we didn't submit our paper! Ok, it's a fake test, we just had discussion of the questions and answers in class. LOL. i really thought we would have a real test!!!

But it's good too, although it was not a real test, it forced me to study!!

But on the other hand, i wasted my time for not being able to sleep, especially yesterday and today's raining weather is so nice to sleep :P

By the way, Mai needs a BIG cup of coffee to stay awake so that she could do her revision XD

Last weekend i went to Fort Canning Park and i brought Mitsuko and Risa along. i didn't manage to take more pics of Mitsuko during the last doll meet but i'm glad i like the pics i took of her at Fort Canning Park :) As for Risa, i realize i didn't have any proper outdoor pics of her ever since i got her so this was a chance to bring her out.

Recently i have been using my 50mm lens with f1.8 and i just simply love it ~
i'm so happy when i see bokeh in my photos, so silly right, lol :P
i think another reason is also because of the weight of the lens XD Since the camera itself is already very heavy, if i use my 60mm lens or kit lens, it will be heavier, so i like to use the 50mm as it's lighter and smaller :P

Hubby said the macaroni & cheese is nice at Donut Factory so we went there for our dinner.

This is the Macaroni & Cheese. It tasted good, i liked it, you will like it if you love cheese :P

Jumbo Sausage Jacket, i think the taste was so-so, the macaroni & cheese made me so full until i couldn't finish up all the food in the end XD

i guess in the first place i shouldn't eat all these since i'm on diet XD

It's been 3 weeks since my last post...

These days i was busy watching the Taiwanese drama "下一站﹐幸福" ( Autumn's Concerto ) on Youtube. i didn't know about this drama until i saw it on Channel U but i have finished watching it on Youtube XD i think this is quite a nice drama, a lot of touching scenes, not only about love between couples but also about love between family members.

Attended a mini doll meet recently at the Youth Olympic Park. i didn't manage to take a lot of photos on that day....

On the same day we saw some cute stuff at the AnBC gift shop. It's Elmo & Hello Kitty stuff !
They are so cute that i couldn't resist to buy some XD

New Year's Resolutions

This year is gonna be a hectic one for me, i will have lots of stuff to do but i came out with 3 resolutions.....

i'm still studying Japanese language and i hope i will have more improvement this year. i have to be more hardworking! i'm always so lazy XD

Now i have my new camera, i hope i could use more of it to take photos other than just dolls or toys. i would like to try landscape and food photography but it's not so easy as i can imagine... hmm....

Last, but the most important one, i MUST loose weight! For the past 2 years, since i resigned from my previous work place, i have gained about 3 kgs ! i'm not happy about this, LOL. So i have to get rid of this 3 kgs XD i think if i didn't gain weight, i will never think of doing exercises... which is very bad. No matter fat or thin, i think we should exercise to keep our body healthy. i dunno how to force myself to really do exercise but i have to try, i've got no choice, i don't want to look fat in wedding gown. LOL.

Happy New Year everyone!!

Time flies, another year has gone. Was 2010 a good year to you? For me i can't say it was good or bad. Nothing really 'special' happened, just that i got married and that considered a 'change' to my life.... Hmm.... not really a big change since we have not moved out to stay on our own. i think this year then i may feel the 'change' after me and hubby moved to our new home.

New year's reolutions.... i've got to think about it :P

i don't know why but i'm just not fully satisfied with my boys' looks. i tried my best to improve them but i think i failed... maybe i didn't try hard enough... Everytime i see other collectors' Taeyangs, i always find them good looking but when i look at my own boys, i just... sigh....

So far i don't think i have any bonding issue with my girls but i guess i can't bond well with my boys. i think other than my Kiyoshi ( Sage ) and Yasuo ( Lead ), i don't bond well with the rest.
Sometimes i feel really sad because i don't love them as much as i love my girls.

All i can do is to keep trying to improve their looks by changing wigs or eyechips or maybe send them for new face-up. If not, the worst case, i might need to sell them away but i really hope it won't happen at all !

i want to give myself and my boys another chance to improve bonding...

i'm really glad that i got her. Initially i didn't think of getting her, i wanted to get her twin sister only but i'm really happy that i changed my mind because she is very very pretty in real !

The first time i saw her promo pics, her green dress sort of 'turned me off' and that was why i didn't take a good look at her. i don't hate green but this type of green they use for her stock outfit just not my cup of tea. But i do like the design of the dress and her green eyes :P

i gave them new names, Sora and Umi, which mean " the sky and the sea ". i chose these names because the two of them are twin sisters so i think it's interesting to name them like that XD

Yesterday went to the Marina Bay areas since i haven't been there before. Actually there wasn't much things and the scenery was just 'so-so' to me, so it was ok although i didn't bring my camera with me. LOL.

There is this Kinki Restaurant + Bar located at the Customs House. It's very different from the usual Japanese restaurant. They called it " Japanese with an urban attitude ". My doctor gave me and my colleague a treat at this restaurant before, i just simply love the food and i promised my hubby to treat him there too .

Just these 6 dishes plus Japanese tea costs $104! The food was really nice although it was expensive. i would like to go there again on special occasions only XD

i have been so lazy recently... didn't bother to update my blog, but there isn't much thing to blog about too.... No matter how lazy or busy, i would still squeeze some time out for my dolls... haha :P

Faith has a new wig finally. i love this color on her, but still not very sure about the style. i don't know if she is going to keep this wig permanently or not....

The more i look at Kazune, the more i play with her, the more i love her ^_^ i guess my bonding with her is getting better :)

After so long, finally my boys managed to be photographed by me. Yes, i have been neglecting them -_-''''' No choice, my love for my girls is more than my boys, so i tend to neglect them XD
But, i tried my best to 'save' my 'relationship' with them. LOL. i gave them obitsu bodies because i think that will make it easier for me to pose them and hopefully i would be able to take more photos of them. i wanted to take their photos today but i couldn't because of the stupid weather ( i need natural lighting ! ) .

i was a little unsure of Kasumi's re-painted red lips previously, but now i'm getting more used to it and slowly starting to like it, maybe it's because her lips match with her wig?

My entry for round 3, the theme was " What keeps your doll busy". i didn't do well in this round but personally i'm also not quite satisfied with my photo because i think the scene was not 'messy' enough to make Airi looked really stressed and busy.

Anyway, i guess i will be very busy in the following weeks ( much busier than Airi i think, LOL ). My pre-advanced Japanese lesson is starting at end of this month, i'm supposed to do my own revision but i was sick for quite long and obviously i couldn't do any studies during that time, now i only have about less than 2 weeks to do some revision before my next level starts! Oh my, i feel like i have forgotten everything i have learned , sigh...

i ordered some clothes ( not doll clothes :P ) and planned to sell them. The clothes should arrive before end of this month if i'm not wrong, i haven't set the prices and i haven't chose the pics that i'm going to use for sale, i think i have to settle all these stuff before the clothes arrive because i don't want to wait too long, i want to sell them fast as soon as i get the items. Hopefully i will manage to sell them, i want to earn some extra money. But if nobody wants to buy, i will keep them for myself since i like the style. i'm selling Korean fashion apparel, recently i kind of like Korean style. The dress i'm wearing in the photo is something like what i'm going to sell ( the scarf doesn't come with the dress ) . Ok, i know from this pic can't see much of the dress ( my scarf is blocking the way :P ) but anyway i loveee this dress XD

Time really flies, me and hubby got to plan for our wedding! i guess by end of this year we have to book for our wedding buffet reservation , need to choose the place that we want, most probably is hotel i think. Luckily for JB side we have already booked the restaurant for our wedding dinner. Next is to book for our wedding photo-shoot, LOL.

This coming Friday i have my basic cardiac life support test. Seriously i hate CPR test but i have no choice because of my job, i have to do the test every 2 years to re-new my certificate. Just recovered from my illness and i'm really lazy to study, i have to study for both theory and practical tests. i wonder i will have enough strength to do the chest compressions on the mannequin or not, LOL.

See, i'm busier than Airi right? XD

My entry for the round 2. The theme was " Zen - The Essence of Just Your Dolly ". This time my photo received ZERO vote, LOL. But luckily i still got some points from the judges. Now the contest is getting more intense and the challenges will be bigger and bigger. i know the final winner is definitely not going to be me since the competitors are all so strong ! But it's ok, by joining the contest it helps to stimulate my 'creativity' , i seriously lack of creativity... haha XD
Now round 3 is for public voting, my entry is still not good enough if compares to other contestants' entries. Hmm.... nevermind :P

Recently i'm quite sick, i have been unwell for more than 2 weeks already. My fever is like up and down. This morning i thought i was ok so i went to work but who knows suddenly i had fever again. Sigh... dunno when then can recover.... now i'm still taking antibiotic for my sinusitis , it makes me giddy but hopefully i will recover after i completed the course. i have been taking mc for so many days already, and went to see doctor for so many times too. When i was in my worst condition last week, i really felt like dying, because of the sinusitis i had severe pain on my forehead, below my eyes, in between of my eyes and on my face, somemore i had very bad runny nose and very bad cough, i coughed until i vomited. i even went to do acupuncture with electrical stimulation on my face, 3 needles inserted on my face, it was quite painful when the needles removed, but i think acupuncture did help my condition a bit.

That's my entry photo for the first round. The theme was " Your dolls favourite thing to wear ".
Actually my photo didn't really bring out the theme well if compared with others' photos but i really love Airi in this look :P

i posted this photo in Flickr and i was very surprised to see all the comments and ' favourites ' because this photo received low points in the first round of the contest. In just a few days, this photo has got 50 over ' favourites ' !! It broke my personal record, LOL XD
i am very grateful to everyone who have commented and added this photo as a favourite. And of course, i am thankful to the 2 voters who voted for this photo in the first round... yeah, just 2 votes... pathetic i know... LOL..

Now round 2 is for public voting and this round there are more entries. The theme was " Zen - the essence of JUST your dolly ". It said that no props other than an understated outfit but i look at the entries, some photos have 'props' inside. i was just thinking if those photos with 'props' receive good points, it will be a bit unfair to all the contestants. It's not that i am being calculative or what, but, if we join a contest, we want to win right? Everyone wants to win, but it should be fair to everyone. i hope those people who votes, vote for the photos which really match the theme and obey the contest's rules. In short, i hope the photo which follows the rule wins.

i re-dressed Mizuki in Prunella's outfit and she looks pretty good in it. Currently, she is still kept inside her box because i have no space to display her! Since now she is in her box, most probably i won't think of re-wigging her.

These few days i'm on my annual leave so i went back to JB. Didn't do much things, most of the time i was just resting at home. i brought my Satsuki with me and took some photos with my brother's camera.

i took Satsuki's photos in my home's garden. Well, not exactly a 'garden' but there are some plants around. No nice backgrounds but still i love how the pics turned out :P

Just a random shot of my mum's lotus plant. i want to take a better close-up shot of the flower next time! The lotus plant is in the big pot and in the water there are small fishes. My mum just love to rear fishes ~!

While i was taking photos i saw this really cute fish resting on the lotus leaf ! Actually my mum has mentioned this before but i didn't have the chance to 'witness' it myself, because when we go near to the pot, the fish on the leaf just quickly disappears back to the water. This time i quickly took a pic when i saw this. Interesting right? Fish is sun-tanning ! i think this kind of fish is very strong at surviving , but those expensive fish dies easily !

i passed my Japanese language Intermediate 4 exam :)
i got 92/100 for writing test and 10/10 for oral test XD

Actually i was quite anxious during the oral test because it was very different from the previous ones i had for each level. We were asked to read a passage for 2 minutes, then, without looking at the passage, teacher asked us questions related to that passage and we have to answer. It was like, i know the answers but to tell the full sentences of answers in Japanese was not that easy. But i was glad that i managed to do it because usually i don't 'speak' in Japanese except in the class.

i have checked the schedule for the next level, Pre-advanced 1 but the one suits me will be starting at the end of November.... so it's like 2 months break from now and i don't like it ! A lazy person like me will definitely forget what i have learnt if i'm going to have this kind of long break before the next level start. Hmm.... i hope i can do some studies during this period...

Yesterday i went to Takashimaya and i bought Kireizukin's note book and stickers!

Soooo cute right? LOL.

Irresponsible raccoon “Mar”, he is usually lazy but he changes his attitude whenever he wears hood on his head. i am very happy that i managed to catch these 3 plushies at the UFO catcher ! i'm currently playing Kireizukin Seikatsu's game at Nintendo DS too :) i love the game, it's really cute and it helps me learn Japanese too since its instruction is in Japanese ^_^

This coming Sunday i'm having my Japanese language exam for my Intermediate 4 level. Time flies.... If i pass this exam, my next level will be the Pre-advanced Level 1 !

i am very lazy, everytime i do my studies when the exam is around the corner so in the end i have to study a lot before the exam and i can't cope... haha... Although every week i have Kanji test in the class, after a while if i don't revise, i would tend to forget, so now i have to study so many Kanji in a few days before the exam and it's driving me crazy!

Other than that, for this Intermediate 4 level, we learn Keigo. It's quite difficult to memorize them and their rule of usage is quite confusing too -_-'''''

Haha.... i pasted these little notes on my bedroom wall and i thought this could help me memorize all the verbs/nouns which i easily forget :P Actually they have been pasted there for many months already and you can see that i am so lazy to 'update' them! i should change new notes and to memorize some other new words!

i received my new girl and the Pullip Complete Style book 2 days ago, i was really excited because it was my 1st time to receive a Pullip in the mail! Usually i buy my dolls directly from the store...

She has lovely face-up and purple is used in her make-up! i love purple !!

i named her Mizuki... i really like her stock :)

i think her wig color is quite unique too, it's like brownish-purple.

Today i am so happy because i spent S$7 and managed to catch 3 toys at the UFO catcher! Well, i used to be crazy over this 'catching' thingy and i really spent a lot of money to get what i wanted from the UFO catcher. But today i think i'm quite lucky, just a few try and i could catch what i wanted! It was so exciting to see the toy dropped down from the catcher! Anyway, i will take the photos of the toys i won :P

i was at Orchard and i saw this very cute escalator at the Mandarin Gallery. It is actually a escalator to go to the Sanrio Baby Milo store.

Actually there isn't much Sanrio with Baby Milo stuff, i saw mostly Baby Milo stuff alone.

Kasumi is finally showed up again. i gave her obitsu body, a new wig and i sent her to Rui to repaint her lips coz her lips' colour was fading. But after seeing her with red lips, i'm not sure if i really like this colour on her... hmm... i'll see how it goes...

Today is Nurses' Day and my hubby gave me this Rilakkuma plush as a gift ( if you know me, you would know that i love Rilakkuma ) ! My workplace gave us some small gifts too but i don't bother to take the pics... haha :P Talking about Rilakkuma, i got this Rilakkuma calendar from my doctor ( whom i work with ) last year or early this year ( i can't remember ) but i didn't really 'use' it and now it's already August! i think i just can't bear to use it, it's so cute and i just feel like keeping it :P

And look at this, it's purple, my favourite colour and it's the month of my birthday!!! Such a coincidence ~ LOL.

Today i was working half day so i went to Bugis Village after i knocked off from work. Actually my main purpose was to buy some new clothes for myself coz i think i have been paying 'too much' attention to my dolls than to myself... haha ! So i guess it's time to 'dote' on myself :P

Well, i did buy some clothes but i also ended up buying other stuff that i didn't expect to buy today! i passed by this cosmetic shop and the staff was really good at promoting her items, i didn't really want to buy but after being 'brainwash-ed' by her, i bought some items...

From left to right : Make up remover oil, BB cream, Eyelash/Double eyelid glue, Eye treatment serum and Eyelash glue.

All of them belong to the same brand, i have never tried this Korean brand but the staff keep saying it's really good... LOL... Here's the website.

You must be wondering why i bought 2 eyelash glue... For the bigger box, i plan to use it as a double eyelid glue and my fav item would be the smaller red box, it's actually a combination of eyeliner and eyelash glue coz it's in dark black so it can be used as an eyeliner... actually i didn't know there's such thing, i'm like a frog in the well... LOL..

i also bought these 2 boxes of fake eyelash ( upper and lower lashes ) ... i want to put on fake eyelashes more often.... The 'vain' me is coming back! LOL :P
